The California Department of Education has created a shorter preschool view of the DRDP (2015) entitled the Preschool Fundamental View. It contains the five domains required for preschool-age children with IEPs plus the English Language Development (ELD) domain. All preschool-age children with IEPs will be assessed with the Preschool Fundamental View beginning in the fall of 2016.
