The California Department of Education, Special Education Division requires that all early childhood special educators who assess children with the DRDP complete a training course annually.
Launching February 16, 2023, the Using DR Access Reports course:
- assists you to produce, understand, and use reports of DRDP results
- is accessed through DR Access Learn
- takes 20-30 minutes to complete in one or more sittings
- is not dependent on a passing score to earn a certificate of course completion
Upon completion of the courses, Using the DRDP (2015) for Special Education and Benny Having a Snack, you are automatically registered for the new course. New assessors should create an account in DR Access Learn to complete all courses.
