Learn how DRDP (2015) data goes back to teachers and administrators for program planning, and about the path the data takes for federal reporting.

The Child Report provides information about a child’s knowledge, skills, and behaviors across the developmental domains of the DRDP (2015) and is aligned with California’s early learning and development foundations. Educators use these DRDP (2015) results to guide individual instruction and modify curriculum; they also share them with families and other service providers to better understand and plan support for each child’s learning and development.

The Detailed Child Report provides information about a child’s knowledge and skills for each measure of the DRDP (2015). The report, used together with other DRDP reports, helps special educators identify skills for targeted instruction and identify what to work on over time. This report may also be shared with families.

The DRDP (2015) Peer Reference Report provides special education teachers with information about a child’s development relative to a sample of same-age peers, and indicates areas of strength and for further support. The report, used together with other DRDP reports, helps special educators write developmental updates, support individualized instruction, and make curricular modifications.
