Learning Center Guide for the “Using the DRDP (2015) for Special Education” Course

Create an Account

  1. Go to DRAccessLearn.org
  2. If you are new to the Learning Center, select “Create Account.”

  3. Complete the registration form. The email address that you provide will be your Learning Center login name.
  4. For security reasons, your password must:

    • Be at least 8 characters
    • Contain characters from 3 of the 4 categories:
      • Uppercase letters (A to Z)
      • Lowercase letters (a to z)
      • Numbers (0 to 9)
      • Special characters (e.g., #, %, &)
      • NOT be the same as your email/ username
        Note: Remember your password!

  5. Select “Submit Information”

  6. After you select “Submit Information”, you will be prompted to log in to the Learning Center.

 

Register for a Learning Path

  1. Log in to your account:
    1. Go to DRAccessLearn.org
    2. Enter your email address and password.
    3. Select “Enter Learning Center.”


  2. Select “Register for Course:"
    1. Choose the Learning Path (e.g., training session, online course, web conference) you would like to take.
    2. Select the green “Register” box for the training session you chose.


  3. Select “Proceed to Register,” located on the right top corner of the screen.

  4. Once you are sure that you have added the desired Learning Path to your cart, select “Confirm” to confirm your registration.

  5. After you have selected “Confirm,” you will receive an email with further details.

 

For the Online Course: Using “My Dashboard”

  1. The “My Dashboard” page is an overview of your activities; it displays:
    1. Your Learning Paths
    2. Your Active Courses
    3. Your Completed Courses

  2. The “MY LEARNING PATHS” window displays the sequence of modules that you need to complete. Note that you cannot launch the modules from “MY LEARNING PATHS” – the modules launch from the “MY ACTIVE COURSES” window.

  3. “MY ACTIVE COURSES” window at the top part of your dashboard interface shows the module that you are currently working on. You will launch the modules from this window.
  4. Important: Remember to refresh your progress by selecting “My Dashboard” in the left-hand blue menu after completing each module.


  5. The “MY COMPLETED COURSES” window displays the Modules that you have completed.

  6. Once you have met all the requirements, “MY LEARNING PATHS” displays a green “COMPLETED” ribbon at the top and a “Download” button at the bottom.
  7. Choose “Download” to display your Certificate of Rating Skills and then save it to your computer.

 

For the In-Person Training: Using “My Dashboard”

  1. The “My Dashboard” page is an overview of your activities; it displays:
    1. Your Learning Paths
    2. Your Active Courses
    3. Your Completed Courses

  2. The “MY LEARNING PATHS” window displays the sections of the course that you need to complete. Note that you cannot launch these from “MY LEARNING PATHS” – the sections launch from the “MY ACTIVE COURSES” window.

  3. “MY ACTIVE COURSES” shows the section that you are currently working on. You will launch the sections from this window.
  4. Important: Remember to refresh your progress by selecting on “My Dashboard” in the left-hand blue menu after completing each section.


  5. The “MY COMPLETED COURSES” window displays the sections that you have completed.


  6. Once you have met all the requirements, “MY LEARNING PATHS” displays a green “COMPLETED” ribbon at the top and a “Download” button at the bottom.
  7. Select “Download” to save your Certificate of Rating Skills to your computer.
