About the Desired Results access Project

The Desired Results access Project assists the California Department of Education (CDE) with the implementation of the DRDP Assessment System for preschool-age children with Individualized Education Programs. The Project is funded by CDE’s Special Education Division to:

  • Assure inclusion of preschool children with IEPs in the Desired Results System through ongoing refinement of the Desired Results Developmental Profile access (DRDP access) and alignment with the Preschool Desired Results Developmental Profile-Revised (PS DRDP-R)
  • Develop and manage the statewide DRDP data collection system for preschool special education (SEDRS)
  • Provide materials and activities to assist special educators, families, and administrators to understand, use, and benefit from this statewide system
